In the book “When you plant the landscape”, the guiding principle is the search for the backyard of my house, for my roots, but always remembering that the trips we take leave traces. This book is made in handmade binding, ink drawing, gouache, graffiti and collage of photograms made with objects from Vale Vêneto in Rio Grande do Sul. In its pages are poetry:

"I tried to plant Vale Veneto in the backyard of my house
I tried to take shelter in your mountains,
From there he brought stones, hydrangeas,

even a hummingbird nest
I swear I didn't see the eggs."

The book “From the background from the drawer” talks about my relationship with my son and with motherhood itself. This book is made with intervention in publishing, ink drawing, gouache, ecoline, collage and graffiti. These overlays that develop into a poetry publication with parts covered by paint and collage, and parts that are highlighted.

The words that escape trace a narrative throughout the book. And they show the relationships with motherhood and the anguish that comes from this confrontation.

The time of solitude

I invent a landscape to soothe my memories
But it will always be those landscapes

with mountains and valleys that never belonged to me
I'm back in my house's backyard

and from here I can't leave
